How does it work?

Start by telling me about your collection.
Send me an email with what you'd like archived, roughly how much there is, and anything especially important or fragile. We'll talk through what you have and how you’d like it documented.

Then, your collection makes its way to me.
I'll help you safely package and ship your objects to my private studio in Cincinnati, Ohio.
You can also arrange a local drop-off if you're nearby.

Once I receive your collection, it gets a safe place to stay.
Your things go directly into my private studio space, where they're kept away from sunlight, moisture, dirt, and other environmental hazards while I'm working on your archive. Objects are catalogued when they reach me to ensure nothing is misplaced.

Then the fun part, I scan everything!
I carefully arrange, scan, and digitally document your collection at extremely high resolution, creating a detailed digital record of your things.
Objects are carefully arranged by hand and scanned at archival resolution on a professional large-format flatbed scanner capable of capturing over 281 trillion colors and 12,800dpi. Every archive is built specifically for your collection.

Your project is never a one-way trip.
Once I'm finished scanning, I'll carefully package your collection back up using appropriate protective materials and ship everything back to you.

Everything comes home.
Your collection arrives back at your door, and you’ll receive the high-resolution digital files with optional large-format prints, books, and custom artwork additions available.

Caring for Collections

Every collection entrusted to my care is individually catalogued upon arrival, allowing me to track each piece throughout the entire archival process and ensure nothing is ever misplaced.

Collections are always kept together and stored in dedicated drawers within my studio, protected from direct sunlight, moisture, and unnecessary handling.

The amount of time I keep your objects depends on the size and complexity of your project. Some archives are completed in a single session, while larger projects may require several days or weeks. We'll discuss the timeline beforehand, so you'll always know what to expect.
